Study on Museology was opened on July 4th , 2010 on the eve of the 94th anniversary of the establishment of the National Museum of Military History (NMMH)

Principal task – to assist for the self education and the self development of the museum specialists

The program for 2010 – “Me and my museum”

Subject purpose of the program –traditions and innovation in the museum profession

Lecturer of the studies – Dr. Stefanka Krasteva – chief specialist in NMMH, apart-time lecturer of long standing in Sofia University “St. Cl.Ohridski ”

Methods of work – discussions (resolving of cases, role plays and situations), lectures, sharing the good experience of the others

Examined problems – “The museum profession- a job, vocation or sense of duty to the past and the future”, “NMMH in the museum system of the country”, “Artefact, museum value, collector, museum”, “The museum and the government”

Result achieved – raising the scientific- theoretical knowledge and professional qualifications
