Weapons

The best completed in Bulgaria collection of cold steel and firearms, including exponents from IV c. BC to models, which at the moment are in service in the Bulgarian and foreign armies. There are presented Balkan and Eastern weapons of famous masters and models of all world leading companies, producers of weapons from the middle of XVIII c. till now.

The museum preserves the personal arms of all famous personalities from the time of the struggles for National Liberation until now.

Its pride are experimental models and the full range of the state armament of our army from 1879 until present time. In the collection are completed the weapons of our Balkan neighbor-countries and of countries we had established relations with, as well as civil models of cold steel and firearms. The given as a gift to the museum arms’ collections of Prince Alexander I Batenberg , Prince (since 1908 Tsar) Ferdinand I and Tsar Boris III call forth extreme interest.
