Outdoor museum exhibition- the motor park


In park environment , in an area of 40 decares, are displayed more than 220 models of artillery armaments, armor vehicles, engineer property, aircrafts, naval armaments and missiles. Four-pound guns, M1867, and 9- pound guns, M-1867, present the field artillery, having taken part in the Russian- Turkish war 1877-1878, as well as 6-inch mortar, M 1864 and 8-inch mortar, M 1867 present the siege artillery.


There are on display various systems of guns –“Krup”, “Schneider”,”ZIS-2”gun , “Gruson ” turret gun, “Skoda” and “Reinmetal”anti-tank guns, mountain and field guns. There are also presented various systems of howitzers- “Krup”, “Schneider”


Central place occupy the only preserved up to the present ballistic missiles “SKUD”, ”FROG” and “SS-23”, as well as SA-75 M “Dvina” and “KRUG” missile complexes .


The museum’s visitors are able to get familiar with the displayed aircraft machines. There are exposed valued specimen like “MIG- 21 BIS”, “MIG- 23 ML”, “SU –22 M4, ”, L-29 “Dolphin” training airplane , as well as “MI-2”, “MI-8” transport helicopters , and “MI-24” battle helicopter.



In the museum yard are presented a lot of engineer machines- “MTU-55” bridge-layer, “”BAT 1“ and “BAT 2” trench digging machines, “KRAZ” bridge-layer and others. Displayed are also naval machines – “OTAM” – 53 206, ship anti-aircraft artillery units, 47 mm D-60 “Schneider naval gun ect.


An exceptional interest represents the self-propelled artillery, presented by SAU “Meibach” T-3 , SAU “Meibach” T-4, SAU –76 and SAU-100. Displayed are also 152 mm 2S3 “Akatzia” self- propelled howitzer and 122 mm 2S1 “Gvozdika” self- propelled howitzer.


Displayed are various models of armored vehicles and units , being in service in the Bulgarian Army- “Hotchkiss” and “Skoda” light tanks , as well as “Meibach” T-4 main battle tank and the Russian T-34, T-55AM2 and T-72. In the outdoor exposition are presented specimen like BTR-60PB, MTLB, BMP-30, ect.
