HOLIDAY PROGRAM AND MERRY MOOD FOR THE DAY OF BRAVERY AND FOR BULGARIAN ARMY’S DAY IN THE NATIONAL MUSEUM OF MILITARY HISTORY

With a special holiday program the National Museum of Military History (NMMH) will welcome guests on the Day of Bravery and Day of the Bulgarian Army - May 6.
For the first time among the exhibits outside of the museum exhibition can be viewed photo-show “Army’s Feast”, which presents military traditions of the Day of Bulgarian Army - when, how it drew attention and how it changed over years. Panels with archival footage of military parades, sealed solemn moments from 1885 to the present and will talk about the holiday, which not only bears the memory of Bulgarian military glory, but expresses hope for a secure future as well.
Real military chef will contribute to the authentic experience of visitors, preparing for them in field circumstances the emblematic for the soldier kitchen bean soup.
For the festive mood will take care the Representative orchestra of the Land Forces whose music will sound between 15:00 and 17:00.
Traditionally, on May 6 NMMH announces Doors Open Day from 10:00 to 18:00 for chronological and external museum’s expositions, as well as for the temporary exhibitions.
Free admission is announced also for the branches of NMMH - Naval Museum in Varna and Aviation Museum in Plovdiv.
The photo-exhibition Bulgarian Army's Day is made in cooperation with “Alianz Bulgaria” AD, insurance company.
